WEEKLY: China's FeSi prices fall on sluggish demand

ABSTRACT
Chinese ferrosilicon (FeSi) prices lost some steam last week, in line with the decline in FeSi futures on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE), mainly due to dull demand from end-users, according to market sources.
As of June 17, the price of 75% grade FeSi under Mysteel's assessment had dropped by Yuan 255/tonne ($38.1/t) on week to Yuan 8,746/t including the 13% VAT. On the same day, the most-traded FeSi September contract on the ZCE fell by Yuan 1,058/t from the settlement price on June
