China's Jan-Sept gold consumption jumps 48% to 814 t

China's gold consumption soared 48.4% on year over January-September to reach 813.6 tonnes, with notable rises recorded in all main usage sectors including jewellery, gold bar and coin and industrial applications, according to the quarterly report of the China Gold Association (CGA) published last week.
