DAILY: China's thermal coal liquidity improves, fundamental still weak

China's spot thermal coal market saw trading liquidity slightly increase last Friday, as some traders undercut competitors to boost deals as the widening losses bit.

The prevailing offers for thermal coal headed down by another Yuan 20-30/tonne ($2.8-4.2/t) at northern China ports on June 2, as most power plants still relied on long-term contract cargoes to meet the demand and they've finished coal procurement for June by the end of last month, Mysteel learned
