WEEKLY: China's iron ore port stocks thin to 126 million t

Total imported iron ore inventories at 45 Chinese major ports under Mysteel's regular survey decreased to 126.2 million tonnes by June 8, logging the second on-week fall of 1.3 million tonnes or 1% because of lower new ore arrivals plus increased discharge volume at these ports.

Mysteel's other shipments tracking showed that the same 45 ports received some 19.6 million tonnes of iron ore over May 29-June 4, retreating by a substantial 2.8 million tonnes or 12.7% on week from the prior week's rise.
