China's FeSi output retreats by 5% in November

Ferrosilicon (FeSi) production among the 136 Chinese smelters under Mysteel's monthly survey reversed down in November after the previous month's rise, with the total volume falling by 25,978 tonnes or 5.1% on month to 481,703 tonnes. The sampled smelters host 95% of China's FeSi smelting capacity.

On a daily basis, FeSi output among the sampled smelters averaged 16,057 tonnes/day in November, sliding by 320 t/d or 2% from the previous month, the findings showed.
