WEEKLY: Tangshan billet prices decline on week

Billet prices in Tangshan in North China's Hebei province eased on week over December 11-17, Mysteel's weekly survey showed. Several steelmakers had brought blast furnaces back on stream, lifting billet supply, yet finished steel sales among local re-rollers stayed listless.
As of December 17, the Tangshan Q235 150mm square billet price under Mysteel's assessment had declined by Yuan 100/tonne ($14/t) on week to reach Yuan 3,610/t EXW and including the 13% VAT.   Daily billet output among the 30 steel producers in Tangshan under Mysteel's tracking rebounded by 3,600 tonnes/day on
