WEEKLY: Tangshan billet prices gain $8/t WoW

Prices of semis in Tangshan in North China's Hebei province under Mysteel's assessment rose further during April 15-21, mainly bolstered by improved market sentiment and the uptrend in finished steel prices, according to the weekly survey.

By April 21, the Q235 150mm square billet price in Tangshan had climbed by Yuan 60/tonne ($8.3/t) on week to reach Yuan 3,470/t EXW and including the 13% VAT, Mysteel's assessment showed.
