China spot LNG delivery price averaged Yuan 4,388/tonne as of January 23, down Yuan 57/tonne from the previous trading day, according to OilChem.
Imported LNG ex-terminal prices stood at Yuan 4,540/tonne today, down Yuan 9/tonne from the previous trading day, according to OilChem. The prices edged down with the downstream demand dropping to the lowest.
LNG sales volume by truck at coastal terminals was 27,090 tonnes on the previous trading day, down 7.92%. In detail, the sales volume was 12,852 tonnes in East China, down 4.67%, 6,174 tonnes in South China, down 6.96%, and 6,867 tonnes in North China, down 15.06%, according to OilChem's data.
Domestic LNG prices are expected to drop further as the poor road transportation situation make the logistics companies to take holidays earlier, and the demand would weaken further.
