China spot LNG delivery price averaged Yuan 4,071/tonne as of February 5, down Yuan 229/tonne from the previous trading day, according to OilChem.
Imported LNG ex-terminal prices stood at Yuan 4,520/tonne today, up Yuan 6/tonne from the previous trading day, according to OilChem. The prices went up slightly with the downstream players resuming work from the Chinese New Year holiday.
Domestic LNG prices are expected to edge up as the traders are expected to ramp up the purchases after the LNG prices bottomed ahead of the Chinese New Year holiday, but the momentum is insufficient in the face of relatively high in-plant inventory.
