WEEKLY: China's FeSi prices down further, output stays high

China's ferrosilicon (FeSi) prices continued to decline this week with the weak performance of FeSi futures and the wait-and-see sentiment prevailing in the domestic market for the ferroalloy, Mysteel Global learned.

As of February 25, China's 75% FeSi prices under Mysteel's assessment came in at Yuan 5,971.4/tonne ($823/t) including the 13% VAT, down by Yuan 96.3/t on week. On the same day, the most-traded FeSi contract on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange for delivery in May closed the daytime trading session
