Chinese alumina prices largely steady, trading inactive

Chinese alumina prices in the spot and futures markets generally remained steady on February 27. Trading activity in the spot alumina market was quiet on Thursday as buyers held off on purchasing amid this week’s rising alumina inventory and production, industry watchers noted.
