MYSTEEL: China's stainless output hits record high in March

China's crude stainless steel production hit a record high in March, after rising for two consecutive months, with total output reaching 3.51 million tonnes, according to Mysteel's latest survey among the 43 domestic stainless producers under its tracking.

The total marked a strong 11.6% increase from February and a 11.25% rise compared to March 2024. Among the total, output of austenitic stainless steel saw the sharpest monthly gain, rising by 247,500 tonnes or 14.96% to 1.901 million tonnes.
