DAILY: China's rebar prices fall slightly, sales recover

China’s spot rebar prices slipped slightly on July 14 after gaining for two consecutive days, while physical transactions for construction steel recovered amid overall market optimism.
On Monday, the national price of HRB400E 20mm diameter rebar under Mysteel's assessment edged down by Yuan 4/tonne ($0.56/t) from last Friday to Yuan 3,291/t including the 13% VAT.   Meanwhile, rebar contracts on the Shanghai Futures Exchange started the week on a stronger note, with the most-traded October contract rising by Yuan 5/t
