GACC: China's unwrought copper imports tumble MoM in August

China's imports of major copper-related commodities were mixed in August, with those of copper concentrates showing ongoing strength while those of unwrought copper and copper semi-finished products declined significantly.

The country imported 2.76 million tonnes of copper ores and concentrates in August, up by 7.8% from July's 2.56 million tonnes, whereas imports of unwrought copper and copper semis decreased 11.5% from 480,000 tonnes in the previous month to stand at 425,000 tonnes, according to data released by the General Administration of Customs
