CFLP: Global manufacturing PMI eases slightly in Sept

The global manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) posted a slight decline in September to sit at 49.7, down 0.2 point from the previous month, according to the latest data compiled by the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing (CFLP).

By September, the index had been hovering between 49-50 for a seventh consecutive month, suggesting a relatively stable recovery in the global economy, the CFLP pointed out. This was also noted in the latest forecast of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) released in late September which raised
