However, at the current lithium price levels, the lithium smelters relying on outsourced high-priced spodumene were operating near the break-even point. Given the cost support, it is unlikely that the lithium carbonate prices will show significant declines in the near term. The lithium prices are more than likely to hover rangebound supported by firm demand.
