Persistent supply-demand pressure kept xylene (MX) markets generally weak, with Shandong refinery prices hitting the nation's lowest. Recently, regional prices have improved slightly, supported by downstream restocking, which has temporarily eased supply-side pressure and helped prices trigger a rebound.   MX prices have been falling since mid-late September.
