GACC: China's Sept coking coal imports hit 10-mth high

China's coking coal imports in September notched 10.92 million tonnes, rising by 7.5% from August and hitting the highest level since November last year, the latest data from the General Administration of Customs show. The September figure also presented a 5% increase compared to the same month last year, marking the first on-year growth following continuous falls since March, Mysteel observed.

The import value jumped 18.9% on month to $1.04 billion in September.
