DAILY: China's imported iron ore prices strengthen further, sales mixed

China's imported iron ore prices continued to post broad gains in both portside and seaborne markets on October 29, but trading activities in the two markets showed diverged trends on the same day.

On Wednesday, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao gained Yuan 9/wmt ($1.3/wmt) on day to Yuan 808/wmt FOT including the 13% VAT, while Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines edged higher by $1.05/dmt from Tuesday to $107.3/dmt CFR Qingdao. Iron ore derivatives in Dalian also continued their upward momentum today,
