DAILY: China's imported iron ore prices retreat further, sales surge

China's prices for imported iron ore continued their decline from Friday in both the portside and seaborne markets on November 3, while trading activities in the two markets jumped the same day.

On Monday, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao plummeted by Yuan 15/wmt ($2/wmt) from last Friday to Yuan 791/wmt FOT including the 13% VAT, while Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines edged lower by $1.7/dmt to $104.6/dmt CFR Qingdao. Iron ore derivatives in Dalian also continued their downward slide today,
