In the Philippines, increased rainfall across the Surigao mining area, combined with recent frequent typhoon conditions, significantly impacted operations in Mindanao and other regions. Loading and shipment efficiency at most mines experienced some delays.SHFE nickel futures traded with a weaker bias during yesterday's session. Spot trading of refined nickel, however, remained fairly active. Spot premiums and discounts for most brands were generally stable, with those for Jinchuan and Huayou resources edging slightly higher. China's refined nickel production in October was reported at 33,345 tonnes, down 9.38% month-on-month but still at a relatively high level.
