WEEKLY: China's NPI prices fall as Tsingshan halts buying

China's spot nickel pig iron (NPI) prices continued to fall during the week of November 10-14, hitting a fresh five-and-a-half-year low, the latest Mysteel survey showed.

On November 14, Mysteel assessed the spot price of high-grade NPI with 7-13% nickel content in East China's Jiangsu province at Yuan 910/mtu ($128/mtu) including delivery and the 13% VAT, down Yuan 15/mtu from a week earlier.
