Imported Iron Ore Demand Price Supply
Prices for imported iron ore in China firmed over November 10-14 after the previous week's notable declines, mainly as demand for the raw material picked up in tandem with rising production among mills, Mysteel Global notes.
By November 14, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao had risen by Yuan 9/wmt ($1.3/wmt) on week to reach Yuan 785/wmt FOT and including the 13% VAT, while Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines had also gained $1.8/dmt on week at $102.55/dmt CFR Qingdao.     Mysteel's weekly survey of the 247
