DAILY: China's imported iron ore prices rise, sales diverge

China's imported iron ore prices rose for both portside stocks and seaborne cargoes on November 18, while trading activities diverged in the two markets.

On Tuesday, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao edged up by Yuan 3/wmt ($0.4/wmt) from Monday to Yuan 798/wmt FOT including the 13% VAT, hitting the highest of this month. Similarly, Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines increased $0.45/dmt on day to $104.2/dmt CFR Qingdao. Meanwhile, Chinese iron ore futures prices also strengthened.
