DAILY: China's rebar prices extend rally, but sales falter

China’s spot rebar prices rose for the sixth consecutive session on November 18, even as trading volumes of construction steel including rebar fell sharply after reaching a six-month high on November 17.

Mysteel assessed the national price of HRB400E 20mm dia rebar at Yuan 3,279/tonne ($461/t) including the 13% VAT on Tuesday, up Yuan 11/t from the previous day.
