WEEKLY Chinese traders' stainless stocks edge down

Total inventories of finished stainless steel in commercial warehouses in Wuxi and Foshan China's two main stainless trading hubs declined slightly during November 14-20 after the continuous rise over the prior three weeks, with the total tonnage down 4,769 tonnes or 0.5% on week to 927,397 tonnes, according to Mysteel's latest weekly survey.

The sample size under Mysteel's tracking comprises 50 warehouses in Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province and 28 in Foshan in South China's Guangdong province. The on-week decrease was mainly seen in the inventories at sampled warehouses in Wuxi, where the volume slipped by 1.9% from the prior week due
