DAILY: Traders' shipments push thermal coal stocks higher at N China ports

Thermal coal traders at China's northern transfer ports have continued stable buying from producing hubs, contributing to a persistent inventory buildup at these ports and sparking concerns over downward risks in the spot market, sources noted.

Coal railings to the eight Mysteel-monitored northern ports have hovered high this week, maintaining around 1.4-1.5 million tonnes during November 16-20, compared with 1.2-1.4 million tonnes during the first half of the month.
