WEEKLY: Coking coal stocks build higher at Chinese mines

Coking coal stockpiles at Chinese mines showed further signs of building up during the past week, mainly due to recovering mining activity as well as lulled transactions amid softened market sentiment, according to market sources.

Mysteel's data showed that total stocks of raw and washed coal at the 523 Chinese coking coal mines it surveys climbed by a notable 3.5% on week to 6.2 million tonnes as of November 19, marking rises for two consecutive weeks and notching a one-month high. Specifically, washed coal inventories
