WEEKLY: Billet prices in Tangshan tip to rise slightly

Billet consumption among the 34 local re-rollers in Tangshan city in North China's Hebei province regularly surveyed by Mysteel averaged 53,000 tonnes/day over November 13-19, according to the latest data from Mysteel's weekly survey.
In addition, billet prices posted broad gains amid bullish market sentiment early last week, prompting some re-rollers to purchase low-priced cargoes which in turn lifted billet demand, according to Mysteel's weekly report.   On the supply side, daily billet output among the 22 steelmakers in Tangshan city under Mysteel's tracking dropped
