DAILY: Chinese spot, futures alumina prices stay under pressure

Chinese alumina prices remained under pressure on November 25, as Mysteel assessed the national average spot price for smelter-grade alumina with a purity above 98.6% at Yuan 2,852/tonne ($402.6/t) including the 13% VAT, down by Yuan 1/t on day. The price decline continued to narrow from the last few days, with only one of China's five major alumina production hubs logging a further price loss.
