MYSTEEL: China's Nov FeCr output breaks records on healthy profits for smelters

Chinese production of high-carbon ferrochrome (HC FeCr) maintained its record-breaking trajectory in November to reach 881,400 tonnes, jumping by 6.8% from October and marking a substantial 22.4% rise year-on-year, according to Mysteel's latest survey covering 177 domestic smelters that collectively represent 95% of national capacity.

The top producing region of Inner Mongolia, North China, led this expansion, with output there climbing to 658,000 tonnes, up 9.2% month-on-month and 23.3% year-on-year.
