Indonesia's NPI output rises in Nov, China's retreats

Nickel pig iron (NPI) production in Indonesia, the world's top supplier, continued its upward trajectory in November to reach 157,200 tonnes (nickel contained) last month, according to the most recent Mysteel survey covering 55 local smelters whose combined operational production lines total 263. This marked a small month-on-month increase of 0.8% and a significant 13.5% rise compared to November 2024.
