DAILY: China's spot imported iron ore prices rise, trades retreat

Imported Iron Ore Price Trading
China's imported iron ore prices advanced for portside stocks on December 12 while prices held largely stable for seaborne cargoes. Trading activity pulled back across both markets.
On Friday, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao was assessed at Yuan 786/wmt ($111/wmt) FOT and including the 13% VAT, up by Yuan 2/wmt from the day before. Also on Friday, Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines dipped by just a tiny $0.1/dmt on day to $103.7/dmt CFR Qingdao.   In
