DAILY: Tighter air pollution controls set to curb China's met coke production

China's metallurgical coke production is expected to slow further this week, constrained by the tightened environmental protection measures alongside issuance of heavy air pollution warnings recently.
On Tuesday, Mysteel assessed China's wet-quenching quasi-first-grade met coke price at Yuan 1,485.4/tonne ($210.9/t), down by a tiny Yuan 0.3/t on day. In parallel, the price for the dry-quenching same grade stayed flat at Yuan 1,620.7/t. Both prices include the 13% VAT.   Over the past two days, about seven cities
