Iron Ore Price Trading
Prices for imported iron ore in China’s portside and seaborne markets rebounded on December 16, accompanied by a marked jump in trading activity across both markets.
On Tuesday, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao rose by Yuan 5/wmt ($0.7/wmt) from Monday to Yuan 786/wmt FOT including the 13% VAT, returning to the price level seen last Friday. Similarly, Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines also increased by $0.7/dmt on day to $104.5/dmt CFR Qingdao, unchanged
