DAILY: China's imported iron ore prices rise further, sales retreat

Chinese prices of imported iron ore for both portside and seaborne stocks continued to gain on December 17, in tandem with rises in ore derivatives in Dalian.
On Wednesday, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao climbed by Yuan 4/wmt ($0.6/wmt) from Tuesday to Yuan 790/wmt FOT including the 13% VAT, while Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines rose by $1.15/dmt on day to $105.65/dmt CFR Qingdao.   In the derivatives market, domestic iron ore prices posted broader gains
