DAILY: China's 3rd met coke price cut starts, pressures stay

Downside pressures continued to weigh on China's metallurgical coke market on December 19, with some steelmakers in northern China deciding to further reduce their costs for the raw material.

Last Friday, some mills in North China's Hebei province and Tianjin municipality tabled a Yuan 50-55/tonne ($7-7.7/t) cut in their purchasing prices for all met coke products, effective today, according to market sources.
