DAILY: China's rebar prices rangebound, sales tick up

China's rebar prices continued to vacillate within a tight range on December 24, while spot transactions for construction steel items including rebar rose a notch, as some traders slightly cut their offering prices to offload stocks, Mysteel Global learned.

The national price of HRB400E 20mm dia rebar assessed by Mysteel stood at Yuan 3,327/tonne ($474/t) including the 13% VAT on Wednesday, edging down by Yuan 2/t from Tuesday.
