CBOT soybean futures closed slightly higher, primarily supported by pre-holiday position adjustments and managed funds temporarily slowing down liquidations. Trading activity thinned out ahead of the Christmas holiday. Despite ample global soybean supply and forecasting agencies continuing to project a record-high Brazilian harvest this year, Chinese procurement demand still provided underlying support for U.S. soybeans.
