DAILY: Trading sentiment cooler in China's coking coal market

Trading sentiment in China's spot coking coal market cooled further on December 25, reflecting muted buying among end-users, coal traders as well as washeries amid a gloomy outlook for the near-term market.

Mysteel's assessment of the national composite coking coal price shed another Yuan 1.1/tonne ($0.2/t) from the last session to sit at Yuan 1,281.5/t including the 13% VAT on Thursday. On Thursday, around 47.7% of the total coking coal cargoes offered in auctions failed to find buyers, hitting a one-month high.
