For lithium carbonate, both the futures and spot prices kept rangebound, while the spot transactions slightly improved with downstream purchases on the dip. Looking ahad, China's domestic lithium carbonate production is scheduled at around 95,000 tonnes in January, down 3.2% MoM alongside contracting LFP production which is estimated at 376,200 tonnes during the same period, falling 11.00% from the previous month as several leading factories announced outage plans beginning 2026.
