Lithium Daily: Lithium prices bullish on expected export rush

For lithium carbonate, the futures price surged and hit limit up with the announced phase-out of VAT export tax rebate for batteries. The spot prices gained momentum as well, with few spot transactions heard. At the same time, the orders from the battery cell factories were robust, and the demand is likely to remain bullish in the traditional seasonal lull in the first quarter fueled by the adjustment in export tax rebate.
