Nickel Daily: SHFE nickel prices fluctuate and retreat

Recently, transactions were concluded in the nickel ore market, with 1.3% nickel ore deals finalized at US $42/wmt CIF in China. Overall market nickel ore resources remained limited, supporting firm price movements.The overall nickel ore resources in the market were limited, and nickel ore prices were relatively firm.SHFE nickel prices fluctuated and retreated yesterday. Overall spot trading for refined nickel was muted. Jinchuan electrolytic nickel resources remained relatively tight, though slightly eased compared to pre-New Year holidays. The transaction focus for its premiums/discounts gradually declined in recent days. A limited amount of NORNICKEL and Norwegian nickel arrived or was offered for forward delivery, leading to a slight decrease in their premiums. Premiums/discounts for other brands remained largely stable.
