WEEKLY: China's import iron ore prices drop amid slow demand recovery

Imported Iron Ore Demand Price Supply
Chinese prices for imported iron ore slipped further during January 19-23, as demand for the steelmaking raw material showed little sign of improvement, according to Mysteel's latest weekly report.
By January 23, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao had fallen by Yuan 15/wmt ($2.2/wmt) on week to Yuan 807/wmt FOT and including the 13% VAT, while Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines had also finished lower at $105.4/dmt CFR Qingdao, down by $1.15/dmt on week.     In terms of the
