DAILY: China's met coke market remains quiet, prices stable

The Chinese metallurgical coke market remained largely muted on February 11, with no significant factors to spur price changes before the Chinese New Year holiday starting this weekend.

Trading activity in the market remained sluggish yesterday, as most steelmakers - having completed their pre-holiday replenishment of met coke – mainly focused on small-scale buying to maintain their current inventory levels, according to an analyst based in North China's Shanxi province, a major coke producing hub of the
