Slow liquidity lifts Mongolian coal stocks at China's Ganqimaodu port

Coal stockpiles at North China's Ganqimaodu port, the largest conduit for Mongolian coal to enter the Chinese market, have shown signs of building higher lately due to slower liquidity ahead of the Chinese New Year (CNY) holiday, according to Mysteel's latest survey.

The survey results show that as of February 6, Mongolian coal inventories at the eight major Customs-bonded warehouses of Ganqimaodu port amounted to 3.95 million tonnes.
