In the 8th week of 2026, soybean stocks at major oil plants in China increased, soymeal stocks rose, and soybean meal outstanding contracts declined. Soybean stocks stood at 5.1954 million tonnes, an increase of 421,500 tonnes from the previous week, up 8.83%, and a year-on-year increase of 181,200 tons, up 3.61%. Soybean meal stocks were 842,500 tonnes, an increase of 3,100 tonnes from the previous week, up 0.37%, and a year-on-year increase of 343,700 tonnes, up 68.91%. Outstanding contracts totaled 3.1591 million tonnes, a decrease of 64,500 tonnes from the previous week, down 2.00%, and a year-on-year decrease of 62,000 tonnes, down 1.92%. As of February 21, 2026, commercial soybean oil inventory across the country was 1.138 million tonnes, an increase of 3,200 tonnes from the previous week, up 0.28%, and a year-on-year increase of 60,900 tonnes, up 5.65%.
