Imported Iron Ore Demand Price Supply
Chinese prices for imported iron ore increased during February 24-27, driven by a pickup in replenishment demand from steelmakers as trading activities resumed following the Chinese New Year (CNY) holiday.
On February 27, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao was assessed at Yuan 754/wmt ($110/wmt) FOT and including the 13% VAT, up by Yuan 5/wmt from February 24, the first trading day after the CNY holiday had officially ended on February 23. Meanwhile, Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines
