DAILY: China import iron ore prices slip, sales increase

Imported Iron Ore Price Trading
China's imported iron ore prices in portside and seaborne markets both trended lower on March 4, but the two markets experienced rising ore trading in parallel.
On Wednesday, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao fell to Yuan 755/wmt ($109.5/wmt) FOT and including the 13% VAT, down by Yuan 2/wmt from Tuesday, while Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines also dipped $0.3/dmt on day to $102.25/dmt CFR Qingdao.   Iron ore futures contracts on the Dalian Commodity Exchange
