Chinese export prices for commercial-grade hot-rolled coils (HRCs) remained largely steady during the week of March 2-6, as the escalation of hostilities in the Middle East caused most market participants to watch and wait.
Mysteel's latest survey shows export prices of SS400 3mm hot-rolled coil (HRC) at North China's Tianjin port on March 6 were at $467/tonne FOB, dipping by a small $1/t on week.   Hot coil offers from Chinese steel mills mainly stayed around $467-485/t FOB over the survey week, with transactions remaining relatively subdued.   The intensification of military strikes targeting countries around the
